Get A Library Card

Miami Shores Residents

Get a Brockway Library card free of charge with a current Florida Driver’s License that includes the applicant's name and a Miami Shores address.

Proof of residence may also be shown using a current photo ID and a piece of official mail, such as a lease agreement or credit card statement with the applicant’s name and address on it.

If the applicant is 17 years of age or younger, a parent or guardian must apply for the card.

Non-Residents

Non-resident adult $75 a year
Non-resident child 17 and under $35 a year
Non-resident Family $100 a year
Senior Non-resident 50+ $50 a year
Applicants must show proof of current address/ID

Florida Retired Educators

Retired educators who are members of the Florida Retired Educator’s Association (FREA) and who taught in Miami Shores schools are eligible for a free membership, renewable annually, with proof of a current FREA membership.
