2027 Miami Shores Village Council Election 

Miami Shores holds municipal elections every two years, in odd numbered years in April. The 2027 municipal election will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2027 at the Lawton McCall Community Center from 7am-7pm. Council-members are elected on a non-partisan basis. Candidates receiving first and second highest number of votes shall serve a term of four years; candidate receiving the third highest number of votes shall serve a term of two years. The Miami Shores Village Clerk is the local Supervisor of Elections for all municipal elections.

The 2027 qualifying period begins on Monday, February 1 (8:30 AM) and ends on Friday, February 26 (5:00 PM).

HOW DO I REGISTER TO VOTE?

To register to vote in the Miami Shores Village Council Election, please contact Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections at 305-499-8486 or visit Voter Registration. The deadline for registration is March 10, 2025. 

VOTE BY MAIL REQUESTS

To vote by mail (VBM) in upcoming elections, please submit your request immediately by visiting  Vote-by-Mail Ballot
