Little is known, let alone appreciated, of the Kaimiloa's voyages of undiscovered lands and people or even the name of its Captain--Medford Ross Kellum--- a native Miamian whose vision, determination and guidance made this epic journey possible.

Enter noted author-historian, Cesar A. Becerra, who has traveled the world including Tahiti, New Zealand, and Hawaii to bring the Kaimiloa story to the world in his latest book, The Kaimiloa Project.

Bea Brickell, great granddaughter of William and Mary Brickell and a Kellum herself, wrote the foreword to this book and will be present at this event.
